Moist Mornings = Mushrooms

Near my little garden I noticed a cluster of these small white button mushrooms. Every morning, the clouds and mist keep things very moist, just enough for the mushrooms to grow. By noon or so, the clouds have burned off and we have blue skies, but its not really warm enough to dry up the mushrooms.

  1. I love fall in the NW with the abundance of shrooms mixed in with all the greens. Lovely capture. Are they edible?

  5. I have a few of the larger size mushrooms in my yard right now from all the rain we have had. I'm posting a picture of one tomorrow I think.
