Raging Salmon River

It is amazing to see the sheer power of water. This normally fairly calm river was flowing rapidly, and there was evidence behind where I am standing that it had flooded recently. The trail was washed out, a nearby bridge had been dislodged, and the plants and trees were heavily damaged. Looking at it from this view, its so beautiful tho!

  2. It's funny how you and Victoria Daily Photo seem to post similar pics within a few days of each other!

    I went up to see Snoqualmie Falls over the weekend and it was breathtaking. This is the best time of year for impressive rivers and falls.

  5. WATER

    Water in a drop of rain,
    Water swirling down the drain;
    Water clinging to the trees,
    Water filling up the seas;
    Water frozen, water free,
    Water is the stuff for me!
