Looking North

One last view taken on our trip to The Dalles this past weekend. This is a deep ravine in the foreground. I dont know how deep it went. I was stuck behind a farmers fence. Beyond, you can see the Columbia River Gorge, the farm scattered foothills of Washington to the north of that, and the tip of Mt Adams poking up.

I also wanted to post the below picture because it was such a beautiful day, and the only clouds in the sky were right above us!

  2. Lovely photos. I love the valley you captured. From one spot on a hill about a block away we can see Mt Bachelor regularly and sometimes Mt Hood. Love being in the Northwest.

  10. The hills are already looking pretty dry. The colour is warm and comforting, but I know dry grass can be a summer danger. - Margy
