Yesterday we took a drive east to Hood River and visited a few lavender farms out there. I will be posting some of the pretty field photos I took this week.

The fields were so full of bees. The sound of it was incredible. As I walked through the rows of lavender, I kept saying to myself "don't get stung, don't get stung". But the bees were pretty busy and into their work and didn't seem to notice me.

  1. Beautiful shot! I've seen a lot of bees too when I've been out taking pics.

  2. That's funny because I've done the same thing - walked through bushes and fields full of bees. I really think they don't care because I've never been bothered.

  3. I love visiting Lavender farm. And yes I could not believe how many bees were there and I keep saying to myself too don't get me stung! But they are busy to take notice of me lol!! Great shots here!

  4. This is such a beautiful picture. I love lavender - so pretty and the perfume is awesome. :)

  5. Have always wanted to see fields of lavender so will look forward to upcoming photos. Can just imagine the intoxicating smells you got walking among these plants. Glad a bee sting didn't spoil the mood.

  6. How smells blooming lavender?

  7. I love lavender though still trying to grow it from seed. Spanish one grows better in our hot climate as compared to the english one. These must have been fragrant.

I appreciate everyone that stops by to check out the Mt Hood to Portland, Oregon area through my photos ... Have a wonderful day!
