Imperfect

I am glad to be back to sharing my photos on Fridays. I took a hiatus during the autumn and winter months, hosting a meme, but now that flowers are starting to bloom and the weather is looking more promising in the near future, I have taken my Fridays back to post my own work.

Every year, the crocus's in my Moms yard are the first flowers to catch my eye. The purple and white blooms come up in late January or February, and are such a promise of things to come. This little crocus seems pretty weather-beaten, but it is still supplying a meal to the little bug hiding inside.

  10. I have been watching the blossoms in my own yard and lamenting the lack of pollinators. Glad that you found one.

  11. It is lovely on all stage of opening! I wonder why you labeled it imperfect. Is that a stingless bee?
