Up Close and Personal with a Trillium

I have always thought the center of a trillium resembled a three legged octopus, with its swirling tentacles. I also liked how the petals of this wet trillium were almost transparent in places.

  6. A marvelous macro shot of the trillium. Thank you for sharing this beauty with Today's Flowers. I've never thought of the similarity to octopus tentacles, but you're right, now I look closely I can see them.
