I have taken many, many photos of trilliums. They are my favorite flower. I am challenged with taking a new perspective when I come across one I want to photograph.
A few of my favorite flower photos are being featured on Todays Flowers this weekend! Thank you Denise, for choosing me to be a Guest Friend!
Lastly, I have gained quite a few new Facebook followers lately. I am close to 300 likes, and would be pretty pleased to reach that in this first week of June. If you have not already, please Like Hood Photography on Facebook!

Lovely shot, your older posts have some really great photos too.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, all of them. In the feature batch, I was particularly charmed by the last one although each was special in it's own way.
ReplyDeleteTrilliums and I have been friends since we lived in Canada in the late 50's.
I love the angle you shot this lovely flower at and your shots on Today's Flowers are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYour trillium photo is marvelous Sarah, a different perspective than I have seen before. Nice to see it from this angle. Thank you so much for sharing with Today's Flowers, and especially for being our Guest Friend. Wishing you a great weekend :)

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about finding a new perspective on a favorite flower. My peonies and roses are beginning to bloom and I wonder if I will be able to find something fresh.
ReplyDeleteLove the simplicity and symmetry of the angle you chose. Beautiful.
Beautiful capture. Sorry for the late visit. Hope you'd find time to visit my Duranta Repens.
