Water Skipper

Oh wow, this little guy was crazy hard to capture. There were a ton of these water skippers in a pool along the Sandy River, and I spent at least 10 minutes trying to get a macro of just one of them. But they are very quick and very skittish, so it was no easy task. I was determined though, because I love the way their delicate legs bend the water where they touch.

  7. You did a pretty good job! I know how hard these things can be. I spent ages trying to get a good picture of a dark coloured plume moth. He did sit still in the end, but boy, he was a flighty one!
