Frozen Ground

When I visited the Columbia River Gorge last weekend, I stopped and photographed Horsetail Falls. While everyones attention was on the frozen waterfall, I turned around and spotted the frozen ground behind me. The grass and weeds were all encased in ice, as well as the bottom of a tree trunk and the rock wall behind it. Impressive!

On another note, today is my 1000th blog post! WOW! Thank you to everyone that stops by and visits the Mt Hood, Oregon area through my photography. I appreciate it!
