Years End

In years past, I have taken the start of a new year as an opportunity to post my favorite photos that I took from the closing year. This week, I am only posting this one post on my blog to feature my selections from my 2013 portfolio.

Each photo I have chosen is meaningful im at least one of two ways. First, most show a technique that I am trying to learn to do better. Secondly, the memory behind each  photo is so vivid in my mind ... the day, the hike, the weather, who I was with, etc.

The last photo in this list is my favorite photo I have taken this year. I remember being very proud to have captured it when I took it, and I still love it just as much today as the first time I saw it!

Enjoy, and Happy New Year to you all!

Overlooking Timberline Lodge

And finally, my favorite photo of the year. This was taken in my own garden back in June. I was so happy when I saw the clear reflection of the surrounding flowers in the water droplet.

These are my favorites.... I am interested to hear which is yours?
