First Signs of Daffodil

I have not posted a flower photo is quite a while because, well, it's the dead of winter. There are no flowers to share, which is unfortunate, because I love to take macro photos of flowers! But this week, the beginning signs of these daffodils pushed their way up out of the ground in the garden box out front of my house. Just a tiny sign of life like this makes me crave spring. We still have MONTHS until it is truly here though :(

  1. There is always a brave daffodil that comes out ahead of the others. We have 2 blooms so far despite freezing nights.

  2. I can't belive there are flowers already coming up from the soil. It's probably because we really haven't had much of a winter.....sigh....

  3. We are noticing the snow drops around town and I see some green sprouts in the garden already. Would be nice to see an early spring.
