Larwood Covered Bridge

Larwood Covered Bridge, Scio Oregon ©www.hoodphotography.com

This past weekend I went on a drive with my husbands aunt around to 4 of the 8 bridges along Linn County's Willamette Valley Covered Bridge tour. It was so awesome! We had a blast and I got to photograph some amazing pieces of Oregon history. This is Larwood Bridge, which was built in 1939 over Crabtree Creek. Roaring River, which empties into Crabtree Creek just below the bridge, is apparently the only river to flow into a creek.

  2. I've visited that bridge! A few years ago I took a "covered bridges" photography class from PCC. We visited five bridges in this area. Nice shot.

  3. I have never seen a covered bridge in person and would love to.
You did a great job capturing color and different textures in this photo.
