Moss Spore Water Droplet

It was totally necessary to get outside yesterday, despite the pretty consistent rain up on the mountain where I went on a very wet walk in the woods. If you paid attention to the small details, you could find a lot of beauty in the rain soaked surroundings. Although it was so very rainy, the weather later today is supposed to be so much worse in comparison, with temperatures dropping to the teens and wind gusts in the 60 mph zone here near the Columbia River Gorge. There is no way I go out in that yuckiness!

  1. It was -10C on my walk today. My fingers were ice-cold and frozen as I tried shooting a close-up of a detail from a sculpture in the park,I will have to try again tomorrow and visit the park at the start of the walk!
