Viola Etain

For some reason, I have really been into macros lately, especially with all the fantastic signs of spring that are showing up. I am eager to try to capture a different view of the common things we may be seeing every day. This tiny viola almost looks twice as beautiful when it it seen twice as big as usual ;)

Gloomy

This photo was taken just moments after a beautiful sunset had faded away. I do not often post photos with any human made structures, but I thought that the power lines in this scene added to the gloomy, dark feeling.

Lupine Sprout

Don't you just love the signs of spring? It doesn't get much more spring-like than this fresh lupine leaf, which captured a tiny pool of raindrops.

Inline

If you have been following my photography for any length of time, you probably have realized that I have quite an addiction to photographing fungus and mushrooms. I am pretty excited because now that the temperatures are rising, the chances of finding fungus are increasing. I have been keeping my eyes peeled for them when out walking, such as this inline grouping of shelf fungus, AKA bracket fungus.
