Daffodil Backside

Next week, I hope to have a batch of fresh new photos to share with you, as the wait the replacement of my broken lens has finally concluded. I hope to take my newly acquired lens out this weekend and scratch my photography itch, as it has been two weeks since I have really pushed myself to try to capture anything new. I have been limited to a backup lens and the findings of my own backyard, such as this freshly bloomed daffodil captured just as the last of the golden hour light hit the backside of its petals.

And with that, I wish you a happy weekend!

Early Spring Sundown

The Oregon rainclouds broke long enough this evening for a small amount of color to appear on the horizon. Shortly after this was taken, the clouds took over again and it started to pour. Very soon, this western view will be obscured by leaves on the lakeside trees.

Tulip Leaf Pool

Is there anything more spring-like than pools of rain collected on a fresh tulip leaf? I think not :)

Plum Blossom

How was everyone's first official weekend of Spring? I enjoyed the sunny warm weather with family all weekend. It was wonderful. Sadly, my main camera lens broke, and until I get the replacement I have ordered, I have only stuff from last week's rain showers to share. I do not mind though. I love the spring rains, especially when they break just long enough for me to venture outside. Luckily, I do not have to wander far to find a photo opportunity when the weather is wet. This plum blossom was just opening on the tree in my back yard.
