My love for the gorgeous trillium flower runs deep. So this time of year is one of my favorites because I can go on a rainy day hike in the middle of nowhere and see the delicate blooms all over. They stand out to me in their forest surroundings, a beacon of simple beauty.

ReplyDeleteOur provincial flower where I live. If you pick it, you get a hefty fine.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to hear that there is a fine where you live. I wish they had that imposed here. Although, I think it is pretty common knowledge not to pick them. At least with the people I know. I have already taught my 4 yr old son not to! :)
DeleteBeautiful! We don't have this flower where I live, but I'm reading about them now, apparently during their brief blooming season. This is a lovely image.
